My Finals entry for the 2010 NYCMM Screenwriter’s Challenge. . .

Made it to the 4th and final round.  It was extremely challenging this time around because I got assigned Fantasy twice and Sci Fi once.  Those are the two genres I struggle the most with.

Alfred Hitchcock is spinning in his grave. . .

I wrote something for DVX User’s most recent screenwriting contest, “Hitchcock Fest”.  The challenge was to write a Hitchcock-like Suspense/Thriller in 6 to 10 pages.  And the story had to contain a MacGuffin!  (don’t know what that is?? look it up ) 

I confess I missed the mark on “thriller”, mine ended up more of a drama.  But I love these types of contests because it challenged me to write something I normally wouldn’t.
